THE CLERGY OF THE CHURCH       A souvenir program is necessarily limited to the most important events in the development of a parish, and thus deprives us of many pages of history just as vivid and interesting. Tonight the menus are done, and the little sacrifices from which the days are woven reveal parish life in all its merit and its beauty, which it has in the eyes of God.       Without doubt, it is the impulse of the Pastor who sets things in motion, for it is by his effort and devotion that an enterprise is led to its conclusion. And that is the work of vicars. What a race, what hard luck and fatigue! Work often obscure, painful and even thankless!
