DENT FAMILY WEBSITES

These Websites are by or about members of the Dent Family. Whereas The Outline serves as a starting point, these Sites extend those lines, add new details, sometimes even offer other or differing point of view. Discussion is encouraged - that's how we learn - either by posting it here or else by writing directly to the contributor. Click on the number to go to their site. To come back, click the left arrow or "Go Back" at the top of your screen.

Site 1. The Dent Family Research Center is one of the leading Dent sites on the Internet and has recently been updated.

Site 2. A very professional site from Leon Wilde who also raises the question as to whether John and Thomas were actually brothers or close kinsmen.

Site 3. Rodger Dent has made available a very attractive site. Additionally there is a fine bibliography to substantiate his work.

Site 4. The Dent Ranch specializes in miniature horses. Some beautiful picture of a very interesting business. Write Johnny Dent for more details.

Site 5. On their Wilson Family Home Page, Doug and Lena Wilson trace the Dent Family of Charles Dent from Kalamazoo Co., Michigan, and from Eley, England.

Site 6. Marshall Hall was the ancestral home of Sarah Marshall who married John Dent in 1753.

Site 7. The Imeta O'Neal Dent Memorial Bell Tower. The Dent family, Alumni Association and Friends financed the bell tower's construction in 1990. The clock and elaborate chimes add atmosphere to the campus at Oklahoma PanHandle State University.

Site 8. Sudeley Castle is on the site of a Saxon Royal Palace of King Ethelred the Unready; not much of a king, how much better the palace? Later - and better ...

Site 9. Manget - Be patient, it's well worth the wait.
