1862 Declaration by Roger Bowen: John Gunter and his wife Mary had children, including Ann, John (born c1760; died 18 Dec 1833, age 73) and William (born c1764; died 7 April 1839, age 75). William had a son William, the younger. Ann married Roger Bowen; she died 27 March 1853, naming William Gunter, the younger, as her heir. Roger claimed to have lived in the cottage for 40 years.
