Will of John Prichard 1708

In the name of God Amen I John Thomas alias Pritchard of the p[ar]ish of Llangattock Llyngoed in the County of Monmouth weaver being sick in body but of sound & p[er]fect memory doe make this my last Will & Testam[en]t in manner and forme following (that is to say)

Imprimis I give and bequeathe unto my sister Joane James the sume of Forty shillings of lawfull English money to be paid her wthin two yeares next after my decease.
Item I give and bequeathe unto my nephew Morgan Pritchard the son of my brother Richard Pritchard two weaveing loomes with the appurten[an]ces and aIl other the utensilles tooles and instrum[ents] belonging to my trade and to my weavers shop. And allsoe my best bed and bedstead w[i]th the appurten[an]ces and one greate coffer.
Item I give and bequeathe unto my neice Mary Pritchard daughter of my said brother Richard one greate copper kettle. one greate brasse pott & one feather bed and bolster w[i]th the appurten[an]ces.
Item aII the rest and residue of my goods chattells & p[er]sonall estate whatsoever of what nature or kind soever I doe hereby give and bequeathe unto my said brother Richard Pritchard whome I doe hereby nominate constitute and appointe sole executor of this my last Will and Testam[en]t. And I doe by these p[re]sents revoke all former Wills by me made. In witnesse whereof I have hereunto sett my hand and seale this third day of January in the seaventh year of the Raigne of our Sov[er]aigne Lady Anne by the grace of God of Greate Brittaine France and Ireland Queene defender of the faith &c Anno D[omi]ni 1708.
