Will of Elizabeth Prichard 1757

In the name of God Amen I Elizabeth Prichard late of the Calea in the parish of Langattock Lingoed in the County of Monmouth but now of Abergavenny in the said County Widow do this twentieth day of September 1756 make & publish this my Last Will and Testament as followeth. I give and bequeath all & Singular my Goods Chattles and personal Estate unto my kinsman Samuel Saunders of the Town of Abergavenny Innholder Whom I make Sole Executor of this my last Will & Testament. In Witness Whereof I have to this my Last Will & Testament Sett my Hand the day & year above Written. The marke of the sd Eliz: Prichard

Signed by the said Elizabeth Prichard as & for her last Will & Testament in the presence of. Ann Mark; Theos Morgan

February the 12th 1757
Samuel Saunders the sole executor in this Will named was sworn well and faithfully to execute the same, to exhibite an inven’ty &c & to render an acct &c before me Thomas Charles, Surrogate

This Will was proved at Landaff on the twelfth day of February in the year of our Lord 1757 before the Reverend Mr Thomas Charles, Clerk, the Chancellor’s Surrogate by Samuel Saunders the sole executor in this Will named who was first on the holy Evangelists personally sworn well and faithfully to execute the same, to exhibite an inventory &c and to render a just account of his administration thereof when thereunto lawfully required.
