Will of Anne Prichard 1669

In the Name of God Amen. The fourth day of October in the yeare of o[u]r Lord God according to the computac[io]on of the Church of England one Thousand six Hundred sixty and Nine. I Anne Prichard of Langattock Lyngoed in the Counly of Monmuth and Diocesse of Landaffe Widdow being sicke in body, but of pertect memory praysed be Gode, doe make and ordaine this my Last Will and Testament in manner and forme following viz.

In pr[ri]mis I committ my soul into the hands of Almighty God my maker and Redeemer, and my body to ^be^ buried in Christian buriall in the p[ar]ish church of Langattock Lingoed

It[em] I give & bequeath towards the repa[ra]c[io]on of the church of Llandaffe the su[m]me of one shilling to be paid by my Executor herein menc[i]oned

It[em] I give devise and bequeath aIl my right Title and interest unto one Mansion house wherein now I live w[i]th its Appurtenances together w[i]th one Water grist mill to Phillip James my sonne in Law his heires and Assigns forever

It[em] I give and bequeath unto Margarett the daughter of my Brother Thomas Three Pounds and one bed to be paid and deliv[ere]d to the s[ai]d Margarett when she shall accomplish the age of one and Twentie yeares w[i]thout interest.

It[em] I give and bequeath unto Jane the other daughter of my s[ai]d Brother Thomas the su[m]me of one Pounds when she shall accomplish the age of one and Twentie yeares w[i]thout interest

It[em] I give and bequeath unto the children of my sister Catherine the su[m]me of Two Pounds viz one pound unto John and one to Thomas w[he]n they shall accomplish th age of one and Twentie yeares w[i]thout interest

It[em] I give and bequeath unto Magdalen my sister one Pounds w[i]hin a yeare after my decease

It[em] I give and bequeath unto Mary the daughter of William Lewis the su[m]me of one Pound to be paid w[i]thin six Months after my decease.

It[em] I give unto Bennett th[a]t is now w[i]th me in service one sheepe

It[em] I give and bequeath aII the Rest of my Goods Cattle and chattles whatsoev[er] unto Phillip James my sonne in Law and to his heires and Assigns forev[er] and alsoe I appoint him my sole Exeeutor of this my Iast Will and Testament revoking aI1 former Wills and Graunts whatsoever In wittnesse whereof I have here unto putt my hand and seale the day and yeare above written.
