It is possible that this is the same Adam Peddicort that was married on 1 Dec 1829 to Hope (Hoppy) Scott at the Zion Lutheran Church in Baltimore Co., This Adam Petticord appears in the 1850 census of Baltimore, age 56 years with his wife Hoopy who is 37 years old. This Adam was listed as a shoemaker in the 1853 city directory of Baltimore. There is no listing found for Adam in the 1830 census, though in 1840 an Adam PETICORD is listed in Price George's County, MD then in 1850 back in Baltimore. the 1840 census listing: Adam PETICORD, one male under age 5, two males age 10 to 15, one male 15 to 20, one male age 20 to 30, one male age 40 to 50, one female under age 5, 3 females age 10 to 15, 1 female age 15 to 20, two females age 20 to 30 suggests the possiblity that these two Adams are same person, since only 2 to 3 of the people listed could be children of him and Hope Scott.
