The July 2008 meeting of the Lafayette Genealogical Society was held in the Library of Grace Presbyterian Church on July 17, 2008 at 6:30 P.M. President Earl Gates called the meeting to order. There was a moment of silence and the Pledge of Allegiance was given.

The minutes and treasurer�s report are posted on the internet at our web site.

Earl Gates and Pat Snyder presented the program, �Ships Passenger Lists� with an extensively printed handout.

Members present were reminded of the sociey�s 1st Saturday that will be held at the Downtown Branch of the Lafayette Public Library on August 2, 2008 at 9:30 A.M. The scheduled program will be � Searching Heritage Quest.�
