 18 July 2013 Meeting

On July 18, 2013 the meeting was called to order by President Pat Snyder.

The meeting was opened with a moment of silence followed by the Pledge of Allegiance.

The speaker was Everett Thompson who spoke on the basics of using DNA testing for genealogy research. Recent testing cost reductions have made DNA testing much more appealing. Everett requested that interested members join him in forming a study group with the purpose of learning more about the use of DNA testing.

Warren LeBlanc, Treasurer, gave the treasurer's report:

Pete Lavergne gave an update on Earl Gates' progress.
Meeting was adjourned and members enjoyed refreshments.
