On January 17, 2013 the Lafayette Genealogical Society ushered in the new year with the new officers.

President- Pat Snyder
President elect- Brenda Thibodeaux
Vice President -Calice Breaux
Treasurer- Warren LeBlanc
Secretary- Betty Hollier

Opened with a moment of silence followed by The Pledge of Allegiance.

The meeting began with President Pat Snyder presiding.

Guest speaker, Lynn Guidry, was introduced.   Mr. Guidry spoke on the development of Lafayette from 1900 to 2010.

Meeting was adjourned and members enjoyed refreshments.
