A Mass of Christian Burial is today at 10
a.m. at Delhomme Chapel of the Flowers for
Kossuth Vincent Sr., 65, who died Wednesday
at his residence.
Reve. John Deleeuw, retired, will celebrate
Mass and conduct services.
Burial is in Broussard Cemetery, Milton
Mr. Vincent was a native of Maurice, and
the son of the late Adrian Vincent and the
former Anita Baudoin. Before his retirement
in 1986, he worked for 17 years as painter
for Frank Matthews Painting Contractor. He
was a World War II veteran, serving in the
Navy board the USS Yorktown.
Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Ellis
(Margaret) Cantor, Metairie, Mrs. Allan (Vickie)
Letterman, Violet, Mrs. Brenda Beadle of
Lafayette, and Mrs. Vincent (Mona) Ducote,
Chalemette; four sons, Robert McKinney, New
Orleans, Kossuth Vincent Jr., Harahan, Alfred
Vincent, River Ridge, and Vince Vincent,
New Orleans; two sisters, Mrs Edith Mallet,
New Iberia, and Mrs. Editha Verret, Broussard;
26 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, the
former Rachael Anne McKinney, and a daughter,
Mona Lisa Vincent.
Pallbearers are Alfred, Kossuth, and Vince
Vincent, Robert McKinney, Ellis Cantor and
Allan Letterman.
An American Legion ritual is today at 9 a.m.
at the funeral home.
Visitation opens at 8 a.m.
Delhomme Funeral Home of Lafayette is handling
arrangements.
