Frusha / Gray Cemetery

Frusha/Gray Cemetery
(Frusha is supposed to be the correct name of this cemetery)

Near Longville, this small (about 50 x 70 foot) cemetery is virtually off-limits to most people. It is fenced with a cyclone fence and seems to be mowed on a regular basis--probably a bush hog. You can find it by traveling east on the Longville Gravel Pit
Road from the signal light in Longville on US 171 . Drive exactly 3.8 miles and stop at the locked forestry land gate. My friend and I walked about 1\4 of a mile to a "t" in the trail. About 100 feet more to the left brings you to this tiny cemetery. It definitely is not a road for less than 4-wheel drive. It is very quiet and peaceful here with pine trees all around. Being "company" land the trees are subject to being harvested and replanted on a regular basis. At this time (1992) there are small trees about 6 feet tall on 3 sides and full grown ready to harvest trees on the north. It would probably be inadvisable to try going there without permission. I have done my best to give you accurate information here so that it would be unnecessary to go there in person.
