Begins with JOHN BURNET, christened 25 Dec 1610 in St. Nicholas Church
in Aberdeen, Scotland (Home of Burnet of Leys) and died 1686 in Old Rappahannock
Co, VA; He was the first Burnett to arrive in American Colonies in 1638
as Merchant of King Charles I. John married Lucretia Johnston, also
of Aberdeen. Old Rappahannock County, Virginia, later changed to
Essex County where the Burnetts lived for 100 years. Seven Generations.
