PAGE 242
In the name of God Amen, I Beverly Nelson of the County of Scott and the state of Kentucky, being of sound mind and memory, and considering the
uncertainty of this final and transitory life, do therefore make, ordain, publish and declare this to be my last will and testament.  That is to say, first
after all my lawful debts are paid and discharged, the residue of my estate real and personal, I give and bequeath to my lowing wife, Sarah Nelson,
during the term of her natural life, and I hereby appoint my son, Geo. T. Nelson, agent for her (my wife) to transact all her business for her, and to
control all her means for her benefit during her said lifetime.  And after death, then I decree that all my estate real and personal be sold and the
proceeds of them divided as follows:  First to my son, William Nelson and John A. Nelson, and my daughter Harried Ireland, each fifty dollars, then
one third of the remainder of my effects to my son Geo. T. Nelson, one third to my daughter Adela Watson, and the remaining third to be equally
divided between my grandsons, Geo. L. Watson (son of Adela H. Watson) and William Nelson, Jr. (son of Jno. A. Nelson). I likewise hereby constitute
to my said son Geo. T. Nelson, guardian for my said grandson, William Nelson, to control the means thus bequeathed to him by me, until he arrive at
the age of twenty one years.  But, in the event that my said grandson William Nelson should die before arriving at the age of twenty one years, or any
time thereafter should he die in the state of celibacy, I give and bequeath the share herein given to him to my said son Geo. T. Nelson and my said
daughter Adela H. Watson, to them and to their heirs forever.  I also make constitute and appoint my said son Geo. T. Nelson to be executor of this my
last will and testament hereby revoking all former wills by me made.  In witness whereof I have herein to subscribe my name and affixed my seal the
thirteenth day of February in the year of our Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred and Eight Four.

Beverly Nelson

The above written instrument was subscribed by the said Beverly Nelson in my presence, and acknowledged by him to each of us.  And he at the time
declared the above written instrument so subscribed to be his last will and testament.  And we at the Testators request and in his presence, have
signed our names as WItnesses thereto.
