The Chapel on Memory Lane
This page is undergoing major renovations, check back often! This page is dedicated to my cousin " Jimmy Brown".
The Three Bells By The Browns
There's a village hidden deep in the valley,
All the chapel bells were ringing in the little valley town,
There's a village hidden deep in the valley,
All the chapel bells were ringing, 'twas a great day in his life,
From the village hidden deep in the valley,
Just a lonely bell was ringing in the little valley town,
Please note: Not all of the following birth
information is accurate. Think of it as a Census, most of the mistakes are in
the spelling of the names. I doubt the list is complete, these are the reported
births. I will copy this as it is written, please use your judgment to determine
the accuracy. I will list the information in the following manner: Child's name,
birth date, birth place ( Pendleton County unless other wise noted), race &
sex, condition, father/owner, mother's maiden name, residence of Parents
(Pendleton County unless other wise noted), later births also include the
father's place of birth, mother's place of birth, these are the last two
entries. Bonnie Snow I had transcribed the birth and death records but since Eric Nagle and Larry Ford so generously submitted their excellent compilation of these records I have removed mine; believe me, you will like their format better!
Eric
Nagle, President of the Pendleton County Historical and
Genealogical Society, has generously donated the contents of his and
Larry Ford's excellent book of Pendleton County, Kentucky Birth and
Death Records. He has done this as a memorial to Harry Stephens
and, bless his heart, to recognize this site for all the work we have
done. What a wonderful tribute, thank you so much Eric!
Please write Eric and tell him how much you appreciate his kind,
generous contribution!
