The Wolfe Family

First row: Anna Elizabeth (Bell) Wolfe, Frank Wolfe, Emma (Wolfe) Brewer. Second row: William and Terrill Brewer. This photo was taken around the year 1930. Anna Eliz. (Bell) Wolfe was born July 4, 1874, died July 17, 1953, and was the daughter of James and Rebecca (Bryant) Bell. She married Francis "Frank" Wolfe April 27, 1894. Francis "Frank" Wolfe was born September 11, 1873, died June 30, 1931, and was the son of George Lancelot Wolfe and Sarah (Dunn) Wolfe. Emma (Wolfe) Brewer was born December 20, 1896 and lived to be 101 years old. She was the daughter of Anna E. & Frank Wolfe. She was first married to Samuel Brewer and later married Riley Brewer on September 30, 1916.

Sarah (Susan) Dunn Wolfe was born approximately 1838, died in 1877, and was the daughter of John Sr. and Patsy Clements Dunn. She is buried at Durbintown, Harrison County, Kentucky. She married George Lancelot Wolfe, December 10, 1857 in Tipton County, Indiana. The Dunns and Clements lived in Pendleton County, Kentucky until some of the Dunns migrated to Tipton County, Indiana and Decatur, Illinois.

The Wheelers were an early pioneer family in Pendleton County.

They owned a farm which included land at the location of Phillip A. Sharp Middle School.
