Educational Division 7.
 
Educational Division 7, or Callensville, is composed of seven schools:   Hightower, Brann, Roanoke, German, Mt. Pleasant, Thompson, Morgan.
 
Hightower, Ed. 7. Sub.1
 
The school is on the Broadford road leading from Falmouth to Morgan.  It is the only first class rural school in the County.  The teacher is Mrs. A. E. Hutchinson of Boyd.  The trustee is Mr. Willis Jones, who is also Chairman of the division.  The boundary follows and is that given by the teacher:
 
Beginning at the boundary of the Morgan and Boyd school district; then south with the Moran and Boyd pike including all houses on the _______of the pike, to and including the James Clifford residence; thence __________to the Boyd and Antiock pike at a point near the Rollingford  _________, then east with said Boyd and Antioch pike including James _______
and James Lang Sr., on the south side of the pike and all houses _______ north side of the pike, to a point at a creek east of James Lang Sr.; then north east with the County line, including the residence of T. F. _________ Sr., to a point on the Morgan and Antioch pike at Sherman Spradlin residence, including same; thence north to the German Ridge school _________, including the residence of Henry Cummins and B. H. Wright and ______ning with said line, crossing the Antioch and Falmouth pike at a point? north of Blanket Creek church; thence west with Morgan school distric tboundary? to the beginning including,  the Charles Ewing property.

Brann School, Ed. 7. Sub. 2.
 
The Brann School is located about 4 miles west of Falmouth.  The site is high and sanitary.  The view is beautiful.  The boundary which follows is that of Supt. Orr, 1901.
 
Beginning at the South Licking River where the road crosses the same to the Livingood Mills; thence west with the road to Ben Wolfe's excluding Thomas Purdy; thence up the Creek with the road to the Williamstown turn pike, so as to include Thomason Sutton; thence with the road to Lick Creek, near Callensville so as to exclude the residence of J. J. Brann? and include J. P. Robinson and Jno. Coleman; thence to the beginning.
 
The census of 1914 gave 47 pupils from the following families:

The teacher is Mr. George Daniel of Mentor, Ky.  The trustee is Mr. E. L. Aulick.
In 1903 Thomas Sutton was transferred to this district by Supt. Orr. 
In 1908 Frank P. Vice was removed from this district by Supt. Ballinger.
Barney Adams was transferred to Cramm School by Supt. Ballinger.

Roanoake, Ed. &. Sub. 3.
 
The Roanoake school is about four miles from Morgan.  The teacher is Miss Eliza Hanson.  The trustee is Mr. Geo. Shipp, Jr.  The boundary is that given by Supt. H. S. Orr, 1901.
 
Beginning at Gum Lick near H. C. Clemons; thence down Fork Lick Creek to the mouth of Little Fork Lick; thence with said Creek to the line of the Cramm district and Locust Grove; thence to the old Cynthiana Road and with it to Fork Lick Creek and down the same to the beginning including Samuel Lowe, James Wells, Jack Fogle and Charlie Hanson.

The German school is on the Broadford pike leading from Falmouth to Morgan.  The teacher is Mrs. Florence Hightower.  The trustee is Mr. Newt Shields.  The boundary is that given by the trustee.
 
Beginning at Chas. Trost's; thence south-east by Vance's Trace to Wm. Perkin's; thence east to James Morrison's; thence south-east to James Wagner's; thence west to Charlie Aulick Jr.'s; thence north-west to John Dougherty's; thence nort-west to H. H. Hetterman's; thence south-east by Morgan and Falmouth pike to Henry W. McClanahan's; thence north-east to C. W. Zuern's; thence east to George Hardin's; thence south-east to the beginning.
 
The census of 1914 enumerates 28 pupils from the following families:

The Mt. Pleasant school is just west of Morgan.  The teacher is Miss Blanche Howe.  The trustee is W. F. McCandless.  The boundary which follows is that by Supt. Orr made in 1901.

Thompson School, Ed. 7. Sub. 6.
 
The Thompson school is located in the extreme south-western part of the County on a dirt road.  The teacher is Miss Essie Dunaway.  The trustee is John J. Miller.  The boundary is that made by Supt. H. S. Orr, 1901, as follows:
 
Beginning at the mouth of Jack's Branch; thence in a line to Crooked Creek and up the same, including Mack Toadvine, to James Millicane, excluding him; thence in a line to James Conyers; thence to the Cynthiana and Williamstown road, excluding Mary Leach; thence to the beginning.

The Morgan school is on the L. & N. Railway in the southern part of the County.  The boundary is that of the trustee given in 1914, including all names mentioned unless otherwise stated:
 
Beginning on the west side of Licking river at Robt. Hand's; thence to _. G. Bales, to Mrs. W. H. Aulick, to J. B. Moore, to Ed Green, to Frank Hume, to C. W. Sparks, to J. T. Wells, to the north side of Mrs. Mary Young's farm, including the two tenant houses but excluding the home residence; thence to Walker Hill, to W. G. Nichols, to W. L. Lawrence, to J. M. Ewing, to A. K. Parker, to Andrew Kelly, to John Kelly, to John Monroe, to H. H. Hetterman, to B. Hetterman, to Licking river near Eums, thence with the river to the beginning.
