Educational Division 3.

Educational Division Three is composed of seven schools.
  Mr. A. D. Moore is Chairman and Mr. George Quinlan Secretary.
  The first Sub-district is Oak Hill, East of Falmouth.

 

 
Oak Hill, Ed. 3, Sub. 1
 
The boundary as given by the trustee in 1914 follows:
Beginning on the west side of Kincade Creek at John Crawley's; thence to John Sheehan's; thence to Newell Cummins'; thence north to Geo. Martz's; thence to Dora Lightfoot's; thence to Albert McClane; thence to Jason Ammerman; thence to Woodford Sharp's; athence to Dora Newkirk's; thence to Kincade Creek with its meanderings to the beginning .
Trustee, Big John Sharp.  Teacher, Raymond Nagel.

The view from Antioch is a very beautiful one.  The teacher is Miss _______Grimes and the trustee is Mr. Frank Brooks.  The district is bounded as follows, given by Albert Cummins.
 
Beginning at the bridge, thence east to Frank Trinkler; thence north____ to David Flaugha's; thence with the pike, including Sanford Sharp's and Nellie Flaugha's. to the old church; thence west with dirt? road, including W. R. Routh, to Kincade Creek; thence with said Creek southeast to the beginning.

The Bonar school is on pike between Concord and Caddo.  The teacher is Miss Velma Norris.  The trustee is Mr. Geo. Quinlan.  The boundary, as given by Mr. Quinlan, trustee, is as follows:
 
Beginning at Caddo; thence to Jasper Cummins, including John Poe, Mrs. Ed. Dillan, Mrs. Geo. Shelton, Alex Fields, Pat Sculby, Mrs. Hark Fields, Harrison Fields, Vege Cox, Wm. Hendricks, Clarence Thomas, Chas. Allender, W. H. Quinlan, Ben Allender, August Morford, Albert Morford, N. B. McCall, A. J. Cahill; thence to Caddo, including all parties named.

Concord, Ed. 3, Sub. 4
 
Concord lies northeast of Falmouth.  The teacher is Miss Emma Stevens, the trustee is Mr. Corliss Mockbee.  The boundary is from that of 1901 by H. S. Orr.
 
Beginning at Sanford Yelton's; thence to Licking River and down same, including the Baynum place, but excluding J. M. Hart; thence to Little Kincade Creek,; thence in a line to Concord and Lenoxburg turnpike, thence (think there is a line missing here)
including Geo. Steel to the beginning.  In 1908 C. L. Hart was transferred to Pleasant Hill.

The teacher of Pleasant Hill school is Miss Ada Taylor.  The trustee is Mr. Calvin Hart.  The district is bounded as follows:
 
Beginning at the mouth of Steer Creek, excluding Johnson Hill, including J. M. Hart, J. Pribble and Ed. Kidwell; thence up Licking River to a ___running from same to Little Kincade Creek, near E. Fisher, Ed. 3. Sub. 6.
 
The Fisher school is near Caddo.  The teacher is Miss Grace Grimes, the trustee is Mr. A. D. Moore, who is also Chairman of this Educational Division.
 
The boundary of the district follows:  Beginning at Wm. Trankler's near Caddo; thence northwest to John Dunn's farm; thence to Earnest Thomas; thence cross to J. C. Thomas'; thence cross to Jacob Bonar's farm, (now occupied by A. Young); thence with dirt road to Johnson Biddle; thence to T. J. Fossett; thence bearing to left of school house to A. B. McCracken; thence to Fenton farm, now owned by Utter Bros.; thence down hill to Hall's Creek pike; thence up pike to Sanford Biddle; thence to Wm. Rumery; thence to beginning, including all mentioned and surrounded by this boundary, including Fenton's Hickory Grove and Fisher districts consolidated.

New Zion, Ed. 3, Sub. 7
 
The New Zion district lies between Kincade Creek and Bracken County.  The teacher is Miss Christine Scott.  The trustee is Mr. Jo Newkirk.  The boundary is that of 1901 by Supt. H. S. Orr, as follows:
 
Beginning at Seller's Run; thence to Tillford Sharp's and Jno. Cummins (now owned by Geo. Harry); thence on up the Creek to the mouth of Wolfe's Run, to Polly Boone's )excluding her; thence in a straight line to Bracken County line; thence with said line, excluding Martin Britton's place now owned by Henry Houston) to the mouth of Thorn Bush Branch; thence with the line of the Murphy district to Long Branch; thence down said branch to Big Kincade and down same to the beginning, excluding Thomas Murphy.
 
The census of 1914 lists the following families with 35 pupils:
