1. Keyran1 Aylward was born 1828 in County Kilkenny, Ireland, and died December 08, 1886 in Falmouth, Pendleton County Kentucky. He married Honora Grely May 27, 1861 in Falmouth, Pendleton County Kentucky.

Marriage Bond

Be it known that we, Keyran Aylward as principal, and John Delaney as suiety, are jointly and severally bound to the Commonwealth of Kentucky, in the sum of Ohe Hundred Dollars.

The conditions of this Bond is as follows:

That, where as Marriage is intended to be soleminized between the above bound Aylward and Hanora Grely. Now if there is no lawful cause to abstruct said marriage, this bond shall be void, otherwise it shall remain in full force and effect.

Keyran Aylward and Honora Grely had 156 acres of land. It's value in 1862 was $1250.00. They had 2 horses/mules, value which was $85.00. They had 6 head of cattle and 78 hogs. ** Information taken from the 1862 land records of Pendleton County, Kentucky.**

 

Keyran Aylward bought the following tracts of land in Pendleton County, Kentucky:

1. From W.W. Trimble, for the consideration of $35.00, the following tract or parcel of land lying in Pendleton County on Fishing Creek and bounded as follows to wit, Beginning at a stone and two white oaks and hickory corner to Crombys, thence S 66 3/4, E 46 poles to a stone, thence N 34 E16 poles to the bank of Fishing Creek, thence with Crombys live to the beginning containing 2 acres, 3 roads and 17 poles, said grantee has posession of said land and I warrant the title thereto generally. In testimony where of the said W.W. Trimble has set his hand this 14 day of April 1884. (signed W.W.Trimble)

2. This indenture made and entered into this 10th day ofNovember 1883, between Robert E. Carlisle of Pendleton County, Kentucky, of the first part and Keyran Aylward of Pendleton County, Kentucky of the second part, witness that said party of the first part in consideration of $1200.00 in hand paid, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged does hereby bargain, sell and convey unto said party iof the second part his heirs and assigns forever, the following real estate in Pendleton County, Kentucky: Situated on Fishing Creek 47 acres, two roads. To have and to hold said premises, together with the privileges and appurterrances to the same belonging unto said party of the second part his heirs and assigns forever with covenant of general warranty. Which 156 acres is bounded as follows: On the north by the land of Lucinda Hall and John Leibhfast, of the east by the land of P. Broderick, on the south by the lands of MARGARET AYLWARD, and on the west by the lands of Bur Sevears and James Abercrombie.
