APPENDIX OF TERMS OF STORE ITEMS AND THEIR USES
Black Draught  -  Taken as a laxative
Car patches  -  Patches for car tires
Dairy feed  - Feed for cows
Egg mash  -  Feed for laying hens   
Hot Drops  -  Eased cramping, was also used for a woman`s monthly cycle
Middlings  -  Part of the hog that was used for cooking in soup beans, potatoes, turnip greens. Some just fried and ate it.
Mill Feed  -  Cow`s feed
Scratch feed  - Chicken feed
Spool Wire  -  Barbed wire wrapped up in spool form, used as fencing.
Stock Powder  -  Powder to put in mill feed , cow`s feed.
