Henry Clay Broughton
Henry Clay Broughton,
he along with his brothers William and John served in Co. A of the 24th.
William and John settled in southeast Lincoln County, Ky. The community of
Broughtontown is named for them. It is mistakenly spelled Broughtentown on
most maps. Also the correct spelling of their surname is Broughton, not
Braughton.
