The Davis cabin is
most likely the oldest cabin in our Log Cabin Complex, and was obtained
from Cora Amyx Allen, a descendant of Ephraim Davis. It was taken from
the mouth of the left fork of Grape Creek in Magoffin County. The part
we have reconstructed was one of the pens (rooms) of the old Davis home
and had been used for years as a tobacco-curing barn.
