August 22 at Bay Pines VA Hospital in St. Petersburg, Fla.
He
was born in Hamilton Co., Ohio on April 15, 1947 to Doris Tenner and Clarence
Padgett. He was a dairyman, a member of a Baptist Church, a U.S. Navy veteran
for 7 years,
Vietnam Conflict and a member of the VFW.
Survivors
include his wife, Mary Padgett; a son, Michael Padgett, and a daughter,
Stephanie
Padgett, both of St. Petersburg and his grandparents, Grover and Louis Bounds of
St. Petersburg and Ernest Padgett of Waynesburg.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, August 26 at the Barnett and Demrow Funeral Home with Rev. Fred Hill officiating. Burial was in Parlor Grove Cemetery

The
Sims family received word Monday morning of this week of the sudden death by
heart attack of 69 year old Enid Sims Pallen, of Ludlow. Enid was the last of
the
five children of the late Arthur and Kathleen Doan Sims. She worked a
three-day shift at Robinson's Drapery Factory in Cincinnati, she leaves two
children, [William] Steffon
Fallen [ Pallen
] of Ludlow and Elaine Barlow of Indiana.
The
funeral will be in Ludlow, Thursday. Ms. Pallen will be brought to
McKinney-Brown Funeral Home at Liberty. Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m.,
Thursday and burial
will follow at the Sims Family Cemetery on Robertstown Road.
Ms.
Pallen grew up on the Sims farm with her brothers and sisters and still has many
relatives and friends here.

Parker and Berth Parker Baldwin. He was a retired employee of Stanford Wood

a WW II Army Veteran and
a member of Stanford Baptist Church.

Creek Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by one brother, James and one
sister, Mary.

construction worker and served in the Navy in World War II. He was

Blue Lick Baptist Church, McKinney Masonic Lodge 631, F&AM, the Royal Arch
Lodge in Middletown, Ohio. Disabled American Veterans and Veterans of Foreign
Wars.

include his wife, Allean Taylor Peck; a son, Richard Lee Peck of Warsaw; eight

16, 1915 in Lincoln County, he was the son of the late Neumeris and Lucinda
Anderson Plummer.
Survivors
include two sisters, Irene Elkins of LaCrosse, Ind., and Ruby Tschanz of Crab
Orchard Route 1; and a brother, Neumeris Plummer of Waynesburg Route 2.
The
funeral was held Friday at Martin Funeral Home by the Rev. David Calhoun. Burial
was in Ephesus Cemetery.

Hospital in Lexington.

native of Garrard County, he was born March 8, 1914 to the late William Thomas
