TabTack Description: The Dickson Cemetery at the mouth of Elk Creek is a very small cemetery located on the south side of highway 7, just west of Blackey and just east of where road 3408 enters highway 7. It has a chainlink fence around it with an archway over the entrance gate which says "Dickson 1847". There are three crosses on top of the archway.

TabTack Location: Approximately 37° 08' 17" North Latitude and 82° 59' 17" West Longitude.

TabTack Directions: Take highway 15 north out of Whitesburg, to highway 7 and turn left. Travel westward along Rockhouse Creek for about 8 miles, to just past Blackey. The cemetery is on the left just off of the highway before you get to road 3408.

TabTack Misc. Notes: The cemetery only contains about a half dozen graves. Most, if not all, of the headstones were illegable. However, a stone "marker" has been placed there in dedication to the Dickson (Dixon) family.
