Erma
Louise Begley, 73, of Huber Heights, Ohio, passed away Friday morning,
September 28, 2007, in the home of her daughter in Richmond.
She was born May 12, 1934, in Hyden, Ky., to the late Rex and Linda
Valentine Keen and was the widow of Harold L. Begley. Mrs. Begley was a
retired General Motors employee and a member of the Presbyterian faith.
Mrs. Begley loved bluegrass music and bluegrass festivals and she
enjoyed quilting and crocheting.
She is survived by: one daughter, Sheila (Ed) Patterson of Richmond;
one son, Tom (Rhonda) Begley of Dayton, Ohio; one sister, Phyllis Jones
of London, Ky.; grandchildren, Pat (Teri) Begley of Richmond and
Jonathan (Tammy) Prell of Birmingham, Ala.; and two
great-grandchildren, Oakley and Trey Prell.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by: a
sister, Pauline Bailey; and three brothers, Michael Couch, Samuel Keen
and Russell Keen.
Services will be conducted at noon on Monday at Oldham, Roberts &
Powell Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Madison County Memorial
Gardens. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Oldham, Roberts
& Powell.
