Pearl JONES WILLIAMSON

Pearl Jones Williamson, 93, was born in Knox County, Kentucky on February 12, 1913. She was a daughter of the late Ben Jones and Amelia Johnson Jones. Mrs. Williamson died at the home of her daughter in Loganville, Georgia Tuesday, August 29, 2006. She was a member of the River Baptist Church at Swan Lake in Knox County.

On May 29, 1930, she united in marriage to Clarence Williamson. Her husband, Clarence, a daughter, Martha Lou Williamson, a granddaughter, Teresa Hubbard, a grandson, Larry Campbell, her sisters, Gracie Miller, Martha Gambrel, Ollie Jones Gambrel, her brothers, Dave, Obie, Sie, Johnny, Charlie, Green T., Robert and sons-in-law, Roland Campbell, Rodney Hicks and George Hibbard all preceded her in death.

Mrs. Williamson is survived by her daughters, Nola Campbell of Dacula, Georgia, Juanita Stephens and husband Gene of Lexington, Kentucky, Myrtle Hibbard of Barbourville, Kentucky, Noralie Hail and husband John of Somerset, Kentucky, Charlotte Doty and husband Richard of Lexington, Kentucky, Norma Walters and husband Roy of Loganville, Georgia and Jessie Hicks of Canton, Georgia; her 16 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren and many beloved nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Pearl Jones Williamson were conducted in Hopper Funeral Home Chapel Friday, September 1 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Bobby Abner and Rev. Marvis Pridemore officiating. Interment followed in the Warfield Cemetery on Walker Park Road, Barbourville, with grandsons and great grandsons serving as pallbearers. Hopper Funeral Home was in charge of all arrangements.
