Connie White Connie White, 73, of Barbourville. a daughter of the late Robert and Esther Neal Mays, passed away Sunday, Nov. 21, 2004 in Community Hospital in Springfield, Ohio. She was a member of Wayman Chapel A.M.E. Church in Barbourville and an early childhood teacher for Knox County E.O.C. Her husband, James Kenneth White, preceded her in death. She is survived by her daughters, Vanessa Derlene White Brown and husband Johnny, Marvetta Rejai Swope and husband Ron; her sons, Todd Darnell White and wife Shirley, Robert Edward White and wife Sharon, James Kenneth White Jr. and wife Lana, Oliver Bernard White and wife Sherry; several grandchildren; and a brother, Milo Griffin. Services were conducted in Hopper Funeral Home Chapel Wednesday, Nov. 24 with the Revs. John Clark, Charles Tinsley and Willis Lang officiating. Burial was in Rosenwald Cemetery in Barbourville. Hopper Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. |
