Mason Wagers Mason Wagers, 82, of Hinkle, a son of the late Frank and Cordai Hubbard Wagers, passed away Friday, Nov. 19, 2004 in Knox County Hospital. He was a retired truck driver and a member of the New Holiness Church. He served in the Army Air Force during world War II. He is survived by his wife, Linda Wagers; seven children, Mason Wagers Jr. and wife Kathy, Kenneth Wagers and wife Sharon, James Wagers, Connie Trosper and husband Tom, Jerry Hensley and husband Franch, Thelma Alred and husband Dan and Carlene Slusher and husband, the Rev. Donald Slusher; his sisters and brothers, Vernon and Bill Wagers, Ola Mae Smith, Everett Wagers and Geneva Smith; 11 grandchildren; and 16 great grandchildren. A graveside service was conducted in Barbourville Cemetery Sunday with the Rev. R.P. Edwards officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Knox Funeral Home. |
