Myrtle SCOTT TYE Myrtle Scott Tye, 84, of Barbourville, passed away Friday, May 26, 2006 in Baptist Regional Medical Center in Corbin. She was a daughter of the late Otto and Rhoda Hughes Scott. Her husband, John A. Tye, preceded her in death. She was a member of Saint Paul Baptist Church and a retired housekeeper for the Jesse D. Lay family. She is survived by special nieces with whom she made her home with, Shirley Patterson, Fannie and Eva Lacefield and several nieces and nephews. Services were conducted in Hopper Funeral Home Chapel Monday, May 29 with the Revs. Charles Tinsley and John Clark officiating. Burial was in Brittain Cemetery. |
