ROSCOE SPENCER, 87, Vaughn Street, Corbin, passed away Saturday, May 18, 2002 at his home.

Survivors include his wife, Mildred Spencer of Corbin; six daughters, Barbara Moses of Williamsburg, Jean Breeding and husband, Merle of Berea, Linda Huddleston and husband, Roy of Corbin, Donna Clore of Danville, Eleanor Collins of Williamsburg, Angela Wade and husband, Chuck of Corbin; 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Eva Eversole of Corbin and Brelia Bryant of Jackson; one brother, Oscar Spencer of Christopher.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Elbert and Anna Spencer and one sister, Sarah Hoskins.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, May 18 at the Ellison Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Moses officiating.

Funeral services were held Sunday, May 19 at the Christopher Church of God in Hazard with Rev. Darrel Bryant officiating. Burial was in the Englewood Cemetery at Hazard.
