| Jeff Smith, 64, Jarvis, died Sunday morning at his home. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Anna Smith; eight sons, Art Smith, Earl Smith, Donald Smith, and Ronnie Smith, Jarvis; Vernon Smith Jr. and Glenn Smith, Warren, Mich., Russell Smith, Green Road; and Gilbert Smith, Barbourville; three daughters, Sophia Kwasniewski, Highland, Ind.; Shirley L. Gambrell, Tuttle, and Bobbie Jean Smith, Cranes Nest; 24 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren; two brothers, Floyd Smith and Teddy Smith, Jarvis; a halfbrother, Marsh Grubb, Flat Lick; five sisters, Mrs. Elmer Grubb and Mrs. Eddie Hubbard, Hinkle; Mrs. Allie Smallwood and Mrs. Virginia Jackson, Bright Shade, and Mrs. Flora Jackson, Gray; a half sister, Mrs. Bertie Grubb, Bright Shade. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Hampton Funeral Home chapel in Barbourville by the Rev. Don Hildebrand and the Rev. James Deborde. Burial will be in the Smith Cemetery at Cranes Nest. Pallbearers will be his nephews. Friends may call at the funeral home after 3:30 p.m. Monday. |
