Jearldine Smith
(February 23, 1941 - April 30, 2007)

Jearldine Smith age 66, of the Boone Height Community, Barbourville, was born on February 23, 1941 in Knox County, Kentucky. She was a daughter of the late Martin Mills and Elizabeth Sizemore Mills. Mrs. Smith died Monday, April 30, 2007 in the Baptist Regional Medical Center in Corbin, Kentucky. She was a member of the Boone Height Holiness Church. Mrs. Smith was a well known Knox County Caregiver. On May 26, 1962, she united in marriage to Willard �Bill� Smith and to this union three beloved daughters were born. Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by Two Sisters, Irene Grubb and Julie Doolin and her Brothers, LeRoy, Henderson, Glenn, Mitchell and John Henry Mills.

Mrs. Smith is survived by her Husband, Willard �Bill� Smith of the Boone Height Community, Barbourville: Her Daughters; Billie Jean Broughton and Husband, David of the Boone Height Community, Barbourville; Joanna Lynn Tate and Husband, Powell of London, Kentucky; Jill Marie Johnson and Husband, Jerry of the Boone Height Community, Barbourville; Her Grandchildren: Kevin Partin andWife, Marty; Kim Partin and Brandon Warren; Her Great Granddaughter; Sunni Ann; Her Sisters; Wilma Smith and Husband, Belvin and Lillie Mae Partin all of the Boone Height Community, Barbourville; Mrs. Smith also leaves many Nieces, Nephews, Friends and Neighbors.

Funeral Services for Jearldine Smith will be conducted in the Hopper Funeral Home Chapel, Friday, May 4, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. DeWayne Smith, Rev. B.F. Jackson and Rev. Tommy Frazier officiating. Interment will follow in the Smith Family Cemetery at Boone Height, with Jerry Johnson, David Broughton, Kevin Partin, Terry Smith, Ralph Smith, Willie Stewart and B.J. Reeves serving as Pallbearers. The Smith Family will receive friends at the Hopper Funeral Home Thursday Evening from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. and Friday after 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour at 1:00 p.m. Arrangements are under the direction of Hopper Funeral Home.
