Carolyn Ann SMITH Mrs. Carolyn Ann Smith, 64, of Scalf, Ky., passed away Wednesday, August 9, 2006 at Bimble, Ky. She was the wife of Daniel Smith. They were married on October 25, 1958 and to this union four children were born. She was the daughter of James Carlson and Betty Roberts Carlson born to them on December 20, 1941 in Detroit, MI. Mrs. Smith was a member of the Salt Gum Baptist Church. Her parents preceded her in death. Survivors include: Her husband: Daniel Boone Smith of Scalf, Ky. Two daughters: Vicki Zimnicki of Inkster, MI, Cindy Smith of Scalf, Ky. Two sons: Daniel Boone Smith Jr. and wife Lisa of Scalf, Ky. and Michael Smith and Denise of Westland, MI.: Grandchildren: Jason Farris, David Zimnicki, Christopher Smith, Danielle Smith, Rayan Smith and Steven Hall. Mrs. Smith also leaves behind a host of family and friends to mourn her passing.. Funeral services for Mrs. Smith were conducted on Saturday, August 12, 2006 at 11 a.m. in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. A.Y. Mills and Bro. Robert E. Smith officiating. Pallbearers were grandsons, nephews, family and friends. Burial followed in the Ben Mills Cemetery at Middlefork. Hampton Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. |
