Axie Lee Russ Axie Lee Russ, 95, of Louisville, formerly of Knox County, a daughter of the late Dan and Lydia Jane Hubbard Baker of Knox County, passed away Monday, Nov. 22, 2004 in Norton Audobon Hospital in Louisville. She was the widow of Riley Russ and a retired seamstress from the Puritan Cleaners in Louisville. She believed in the Baptist faith. She is survived by two daughters, Tabitha Buchanan and Jean Badlucca; two sisters, Minnie Jackson and Lillie Merida; 18 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren. Services were conducted Sunday, Nov. 28 in Hampton Funeral Home with the Revs. Mike Collins and Tommy Frazier officiating. Burial was in Scalf Chapel at Baughman. Hampton Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. |
