BOB PETREY, 73, Williamsburg, passed away Saturday evening, August 24, 2002 at his home. He was a member of the Main Street Baptist Church in Williamsburg for over 61 years, member of the Men's Bible Class at Main Street Baptist and member of the International Brotherhood Electrical Workers (I.B.E.W.) Local 369.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy "Doll" Lane Petrey of Williamsburg; two daughters, Gail Drake of Cincinnati, Ohio and Susan Jett and husband, Dr. Steven of Amberg, Germany; two grandchildren, Matthew Jett and Ashleigh Jett of Amberg, Germany; two sisters, Mrs. Betty Patrick and husband, Joe of Williamsburg and Mrs. Lou Byrd and husband, Richard of Cynthiana; two brothers, Denny Byrd and wife, Lezlee Jo of Williamsburg and Jimmy Byrd and wife, Sylvia of Cincinnati, Ohio; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Betty and Donnie Witt of Williamsburg; aunt, Leona McReynolds of Daytona, Florida; also several nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.

Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 28 at the Main Street Baptist Church with Dr. Steven Jett officiating. Burial will be in the Davis Addition of Highland Cemetery, Williamsburg. Pallbearers will be Mayor Bill Nighbert, Allan Steely, Phil Pettit, Allen Petrey, Edgar Bryant, Bobo Robinson, Dr. John David Mountjoy and Phil Brennenstuhl.

Honorary pallbearers are Archie Powers, Kermit Coffey, Bob Corbett, Garrett Teague, Jr., Jack Miller, Rex Steely, and Jake B. Mountjoy.
