CHARLES CURTIS PEACE, 73, West Chester and Morrow, Ohio passed away Monday, April 29, 2002 at the Bethesda North Hospital.

He was born January 14, 1929 at Rockholds to the late Lida and Elsie (Smith) Peace; he was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict and a member of the Morrow VFW Post 8202. He retired from General Electric in 1985 after 30 years of service.

He is survived by his wife of 16 years, Loueva (Beavers) Peace of West Chester, Ohio; one daughter, Donna and husband, Kelly Smith of Morrow, Ohio; two step-children, Marilyn and husband, Pete Jacobs of Louisville and Darryl and wife, Jenny Zornes of Goshen, Ohio; three brothers, Coman and wife, Ruby of Maineville, Eugene and wife, Ann of West Chester, Ohio and Ray and wife, Illa of Jacksboro, Tennessee; two sisters, Gladys Prater of Owensboro and Irene Peace of Williamsburg; five step-grandchildren, Mike Huff, Darryl, Amanda, Amber, and Brittany Zornes.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Wilma Noe Peace; three brothers, Claude, Verda and Chester; and five sisters, Eula Mattingly, Mae Bennet, Vina Whittle and Linda Peace.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, May 1 at the Vale-Hoskins Funeral Home in Morrow with Rev. Gary Hughes officiating. Interment followed in the Rest Haven Cemetery, Blue Ash.
