Danny Edward PARROTT

Mr. Danny Edward Parrott, 40, of Lexington, Ky. departed this life on Monday, March 26, 2007 in Lexington, Ky. He was born on February 17, 1967 in Corbin, Ky. and was the son of Janice Hyde Barnes and David Parrott. Danny was a member of the Cynthiana Baptist Church and was a member of the music team at Quest Community Church in Lexington. He was a 1985 graduate of Barbourville High School, a 1989 graduate of Eastern Kentucky University. Dannywas a Veteran of the United States Air Force, a member of the American Legion Post 69 in Barbourville, a former employee of the Barbourville City Police Dept., and was a former employee of the Cynthiana Police Dept. where he was awarded the Medal of Valor for saving a fellow officer's life. He is survived by his two daughters, Sarah and Courtney Parrott both of Georgtown, KY. his father, David Parrott of Heidrick, KY., his mother Janice Barnes and husband Edward of Cannon, KY. , his brother, Larry Parrott and wife Elaine and niece Jordan all of London, KY., and his fiance Stephanie Browning and her sons Zachary and Jacob all of Lexington, KY. Danny also leaves behind a host of many other relatives and friends to mourn his passing. Funeral services for Mr. Danny Parrott will be conducted on Thursday, March 29, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Michael Medlock officiating. Pallbearers will be Pat Alford, Ricky Hughes, Ray Ferguson, Edward Hyde, Scott Parrott, Gerry Hyde, Dennis Abner and Brett Sosby. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Pat Frederick, Charlie Green Dixon, All members of the Barbourville City Police Dept. and the Cynthiana Police Dept., Lois Treadway, all friends, classmates and co-workers. Burial will be in the Trace Branch Community Cemetery. Hampton Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends Wednesday at the Hampton Funeral Home from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. and on Thursday at the funeral home from 9 a.m. until the hour of service at 1 p.m.
