Robert Parks, 77, of Artemus, a son of the late Cleveland and Sarah Parks Dunn, passed away at his home on Saturday, July 5, 2003. He believed in the protestant faith and was a retired carpenter.

He is survived by his wife, Nettie Holt Parks; four daughters, Kathleen Holt, Indiana, Linda Moore, Artemus, Debbie Parks, Artemus and Vickie Marquaarte and husband Steve of Indiana; sons, Charlie Parks and wife Betty, Bimble, Carl Parks and wife Sherry, Artemus, David Wayne Parks, West Liberty, Billy Ray Parks, Falmouth and William Ronnie Holt and wife Wilma, Artemus; three sisters, Mary Joe, Jewell and Lucy Miller, all of Indiana; three brothers, Dale Parks, Bill Parks and Jim Parks, all of Salyersville; nine grandchildren; four great grandchildren and one step grandchild.

Services were conducted in Hampton Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, July 8, 2003 with the Revs. Ricky Broughton and Jimmy Gibson officiating. Burial was in Barbourville Cemetery. Hampton Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
