John W. Moore, 90, 15th Street, Williamsburg, passed away Saturday, October 18, 2003 at the Beechtree Manor Nursing Home in Jellico,

Survivors include his wife, Carrie Moore of Williamsburg; seven daughters, Nola Vest and husband, Arthur of Sharonville, Ohio, Anna Peace and friend, John Metcalf of Corbin, Julia Bailey and friend Lonnie McKinney of Cincinnati, Ohio, Mary Hollars and husband, George of Stearns, Zora Boggs of Franklin, Ohio, Barbara Goins of Williamsburg, and Glenna Able and husband, Richard of Cincinnati, Ohio; two sons, J.B. Moore and wife, Elsie of Dayton, Ohio and James F. Moore and wife, Sharon of Seymour, Indiana; 21 grandchildren, 48 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Marie Patterson of Sharonville, Ohio; one brother, Paul Moore of Norwood, Ohio; also several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 22 at the East Pine Knot Tabernacle Church of God with Rev. William Kilby, Rev. Leamon Perry and Rev. James Loudermilk officiating.

Croley Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

October 18, 2003

John W. Moore, 90, of Williamsburg, passed away Saturday, Oct. 18, 2003 at Beechtree Manor Nursing Home in Jellico.

He was the husband of Carrie Moore. The funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the East Pine Knot Tabernacle Church of God. Burial will be in the Hayes Creek Cemetery.

The body will be taken to the church Wednesday to lie in state from noon until the funeral hour.

The family will receive friends after 5 p.m. today Tuesday at the Croley Funeral Home.
