Jerry MIRACLE

Mr. Jerry Leonard Miracle, 67, of Corbin, formerly of Poplar Creek, passed away Thursday afternoon, November 22, 2007 in the Barbourville Nursing Home. He was a son of the late Leonard and Viola Runyon Miracle born on November 7, 1940 in Knox County. Mr. Miracle was a former truck driver and believed in the Baptist faith. He faithfully served in the Army National Guard of Kentucky. He enjoyed traveling. On February 27, 1965, he united in marriage with Doris Vaughn in London. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Lucille Parker; a brother, Shelby Miracle; and a grandson, Joshua David Wagers. Survivors include his wife, Doris Miracle of Barbourville; three children, Sherry Cox and husband, John, of Girdler, Jerry Wayne Miracle and wife, Lisa, of Green Road and Veronica Mills and husband, Haskel, of Barbourville; a brother and two sisters, William Miracle and wife, Charlotte, of Corbin, Mary Ann Floyd and husband, Donald, of Rockholds and Phyllis Miracle of Denver, CO; seven grandchildren; among other loved ones and dear friends who mourn his passing. A memorial service was conducted in the chapel of the Knox Funeral Home Sunday, November 25 at 2 P.M. with Rev. Michael Floyd officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Knox Funeral Home.
