Virgil Mills Virgil Mills, 82, of Covington, formerly of Morgan County and Knox County, passed away Thursday, March 23, 2006. He was a son of the late Robert and Effie Mills. He was a retired embalmer and funeral director and a member of the Williams Creek Elkfork Community Church. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He is survived by his step-children, Darrell Williams and Ivetta Weaver; three sisters, Della Weis, Eula Downey and Virginia Miller; two brothers, Robert Mills Jr. and Ben Mills. Services were conducted in Herald &Stewart &Halsey Funeral Home in West Liberty, Saturday, March 25 with the Rev. Robert Lee Mills II officiating. Burial was in Sanford Williams Cemetery at Rockhouse with a military graveside service conducted by the Morgan County DAV. This has been a courtesy announcement from Knox Funeral Home. |
