VIRGIE VALENTINE MILLS Virgie Valentine Mills, 77, of Heidrick, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 11, 2005 in Knox County Hospital. She was a daughter of the late Matthew and Dora Barnes Valentine. She had worked as a seamstress at Warners and was a member of Heidrick Holiness Church. She is survived by her husband, Denver Mills; two sons, Ronnie Mills and wife Anita and Denver Michael Mills and wife Barbara; eight grandchildren; five great grandchildren; two brothers, Calvin Valentine and the Rev. Charles Valentine and wife Billie Joe; four sisters, Velva Valentine, Elva Messer, Geneva Mills, Joyce Smith and husband Troy. Services were conducted Thursday, Oct. 13 in Hopper Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Tommy Frazier, Denvil Taylor and Mike Corey officiating. Burial was in the Patterson Cemetery at Heidrick. Hopper Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. |
