Rodney MILLS Rodney Mills, 48, of Gray, Ky., passed away Friday, Oct. 19, 2007 in Baptist Regional Medical Center in Corbin. Rodney was the son of the late Amos and Maudie Swafford Mills. He was born on Jan. 7, 1959 in Corbin, Ky. Rodney was a former employee of A.G. Simpson Company. On Dec. 21, 1982, he united in marriage with Wanda Beardsley. Mr. Mills was the loving husband of Wanda of Gray. He was the loving father of Steven and wife Christina of Warren, Mich, Chrissy and husband Jimmy (Jimbo) of Warren, Mich., and Minda of Gray, Ky. and grandfather of Nolan and Ethan. He was the dear son-in-law of Mae Beardsley of Parsons, Tenn. He also leaves behind a dear cousin, Randall Mills of Gray, Ky., who was his best friend. Funeral services for Rodney MIlls will be conducted in Hopper Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2007 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Garrett Garland officiating. Burial will follow in the Gray-Cox Cemetery at Gray, Ky. with his dear family and friends serving as pallbearers. The Mills family will receive friends on Monday from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m., Tuesday from 12 noon until 9 p.m. and on Wednesday after 9 a.m. until the funeral hour at 11 a.m. Arrangements are under the direction of Hopper Funeral Home. |
