Mattie Mills Mrs. Mattie Mills, 76, of Flat Lick, the widow of Arvin Mills, passed away Sunday, March 16, 2003 in Pineville Community Hospital. She was a daughter of the late Marion and Lillie Mae Hurst Pallion. She was of the Baptist faith. She is survived by three daughters, Peggy Frederick and husband Wayne, Elaine Hensley and Debbie Reel and husband Robert, all of Flat Lick; three sons, Danny R. Mills and Ronnie Mills, both of Flat Lick and Haskel Mills and wife Sharon of Artemus; one brother, Lloyd Pillion of Maryland; two sisters, Betty Chavies of Ohio and Georgia Mills of Artemus; 17 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. Services were conducted Wednesday, March 19 at Hampton Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Mike Collions and the Rev. Vincent Smith officiating. Burial was in Mills Family Cemetery at Artemus. Hampton Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. |
