HAZEL MILLS, 76, of Boone Height, passed away Monday, August 23, 1999 in the Knox County Hospital. She was the daughter of the late John and Lettie Messer Rice born to them on April 19, 1923 in Knox County. On March 26, 1945 she married Ott Mills. Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Ott Mills of Boone Height. Funeral services were conducted in the Hopper Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, August 25, at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Leslie Broughton and the Rev. Jimmy Elliott. Burial followed in the Henry Mills Cemetery at Roadfork. Hopper Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
