| WILLIAM S. "Bill" MILLER, 63, of Flat Lick, the son of Cleadith Payne Miller and the late Smith Miller was born on February 17, 1937 in Pineville and passed away Friday, July 7, 2000 at his home. He believed in the Baptist faith, he was a retiree from General Motors, after retiring he worked for the Knox County School Board. He was also a member of the U.S. Air Force for four years. On January 10, 1963 he was united in marriage to Margaret Whitten and to this union three children were born. Survivors include his wife, Margaret Miller of Flat Lick; his mother, Cleadith Payne Miller, also of Flat Lick; one daughter, Lisa J. Miller Liford and husband Vernon of Girdler; two sons, Thomas G. Miller of West Palm Beach and Steven L. Miller of Cincinnati, Ohio; four grandchildren; two aunts; and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services were conducted Monday, July 10 at 11 a.m. in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Larry Sowders and the Rev. Dean Liford officiating. Burial followed in the Barbourville Cemetery. Hampton Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. |
