Kathleen Warfield Miller

Kathleen Warfield Miller, 86, of Oak Ridge, Tenn., formerly of Knox County, a daughter of the late George Barnes Warfield and Cora Caroline Brittain Warfield,passed away Monday, Nov. 15, 2004 in Saint Mary's Medical Center in Knoxville. Her husband, Leonard C. Miller, preceded her in death. She was a 10 year survivor of pancreatic cancer. She was a school teacher and taught 36 years in both Kentucky and Tennessee. She traveled widely, including all 50 states and abroad. She was a member of a Christian friendship club, the Handy Helpers and was a member of Central Baptist Church in Oak Ridge.

She is survived by one daughter, Kathy Carolyn Miller, of Oak Ridge; and her sister's son, Michael Fultz; several great nieces and nephews, including Marilynn Brittain, Gary W. Brittain, Debra Hobbs Brittain, Jimmy Brittain and Renee Brittain Browning. Funeral services were conducted Saturday, Nov. 20 at Central Baptist Church in Oak Ridge with the Rev. Dr. Bobby Mullins and the Rev. Bob Gray officiating. Burial was in Oak Ridge Memorial Park. Weatherford Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
