George Ellis Miller, 80, Junction City, formerly of Williamsburg, passed away Thursday, June 26, 2003 at the V.A. Medical Center in Lexington.

He was a veteran of World War II serving with the U.S. Marine Corps. He was a former supervisor with Roper Corporation in Williamsburg and Tri-County Assemblies.

Survivors include his wife, Emma McCaslin Miller of Junction City; one son, Richard Wayne Miller of Sonora, California; one daughter, Kathleen Miller Sinkhorn of Junction City; four grandchildren; one brother, Jack Miller of Mt. Sterling; one sister, Doris Croley of Oak Ridge, Tennessee.

Funeral services were held Monday, June 30 at the Stith Funeral Home Chapel, Danville, with Rev. Don Benningfield officiating. Burial was in the Camp Nelson National Cemetery in Nicholasville.
