Ray MESSER Ray Messer, 71, of Flat Lick, passed away May 4, 2006 in Pineville Community Hospital in Pineville. He was a son of the late James and Oma Prichard Messer. He was a former member and deacon of Concord Baptist Church, a veteran of the U.S. Army and owner of La Johna Raye�s. He is survived by his daughter, Lana Terease Hale; one son-in-law, John Hale; one brother, the Rev. Dallas Messer and wife Lola; one granddaughter, Johna Raye Alouise Hale. Services were conducted Sunday, May 7 in Hopper Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Denvil Taylor, Larry Sowders and Jimmy Siler officiating. Burial was in Barbourville City Cemetery. Hopper Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. |
