On July 6, 2007, Frank McBee was in his garden, when the lord showed Frank a new garden and called him home. Frank McBee, age 65 of Cannon, Kentucky, was born into this life on January 22, 1942 to the parents of Dewey and Molly McBee. He was an honest Roofer for 35 years with his brother George. He was a member of Scalf Chapel Pentecostal Church. On April 16, 1965, he was united in marriage with Phyllis Jean Jordan, and to this union four children were born.Frank leaves behind his wife, Phyllis Jean McBee of Cannon, Kentucky. A daughter, Pam Hubbard and husband James of Hinkle, Kentucky. His son, Deano McBee of Cannon, Kentucky. A daughter, Kathy Daniels and husband Clem of Bimble, Kentucky. One brother, George McBee of Cannon, Kentucky. Two sisters, Kathy Weaver of Corbin, Kentucky, and Elaine Manning of Ohio. Six grandchildren, Four step-grandchildren, Two great grandchildren, His life-long friend, Jay-Paul, his dog T.T, sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws, nieces, nephews, and many other dear family and friends to mourn his passing. He was preceded in death by his son, Gary McBee, his parents, Dewey and Molly McBee, a sister Viola Jordan, and his Father-in-law and mother-in-law, Gaston and Gladys Jordan. Frank was a wonderful husband, a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, a loyal friend, and kind to all who knew him. He was deeply loved and will be greatly missed, especially since his garden was left unfinished. Funeral services for Frank McBee will be conducted in the Hopper Funeral Home Chapel on Monday July 9, 2007 at 2:00pm with Rev. Ted Satterfield, Rev. Ricky Broughton, and Rev. Columbus Hensley officiating. Frank will be laid to rest in the Callebs Creek cemetery at Girdler, Kentucky with Brian Ledford, Jeff Ledford, Harold Smith, Jeff Paul, Frank Meeks,David Woolum, and Randy Hubbard serving as pallbearers. The McBee family will receive friends at Hopper Funeral Home Sunday evening from 5:30pm until 9:00pm, and on Monday after 9:00am until the funeral hour at 2:00. Arrangements are under the direction of Hopper Funeral Home.
